We
went to his house for lunch and he told us some of the rules for our
mission and we aren´t able to have any coke or mate... It sucks but it´s
part of the rules. They then had us go to a church and met up with some
more missionaries who would be our trainers the next day, they just
handed us some books and pass along cards and said get to work. My comp
that day helped me so much to learn what to do and what to say to have
people better understand the goesple.
After a
long first day we went to a way nice hotel here to prepare for the
coming day. The next day we found out who are comp was, my comp is named
Elder Castro, he´s from Brazil and has been out for 5 months, He´s a
way cool guy, He´s helped me learn so much already and just keeps
helping me more every day. As he teaches me I try to help him learn some
english because he want´s to learn. He´s getting pretty good.
This
week was hard because they lost the map of our area so we don´t know
where anyone lives so we are always looking for houses and new people to
teach. We didn´t have many lessons this week but did find some cool
people that we are going to teach this week so that´s good at least.
It´s
hard here but at the same time it´s not that bad, the lord has helped
me so much already it´s crazy to think that he will keep beelssing me,
the language is slowly coming along, it takes time. The members here try
to talk to me and it sounds like a different language, but i do my best
to reply and they try to make sense of what i say, But they alwasy try
to talk to me because im american and they don´t seem americans to
often. Things are good here, Next week hopfully I´ll have some pictures
and more news on lessons.
