Just some quick news about life here in Brasil, things are going great
in the true work of the Lord. Nothing but miracles are happening out
here, i have a strong testimony that when you are truly doing everything
that you can the lord will bless you, a lot of times it´s not in the
way that you thought but the lord always blesses you.
For
my little message for this week i want to share a little bit of what my
mission president talked to us about during our weekly letter with him.
He was talking a little bit about faith, and he said something like
this, Faith depends on our desire, what we want, a good plan, looking
for the good results that you want.
It was
interesting when he said that to me, as missionarys we are always
looking to gain more faith each day, and that will always depend on our
desire, what we really want to have happen, so we really want to help
these people, or just put a number on the board, a good plan, that´s
something i really hatted doing before on the mission is sitting down to
plan something, but our daily planning changes everything for us, we
will show our desire by showing what we want to have happen, we will
show the lord what we want to do, and then ask if it´s right or not, but
i always thought that planning was you have to follow the plan always,
but good planning is when you can change it to do the Lord´s will and
what he wants, to know your day so well that you know what you can do at
all times. And then looking for the results that you want, you do that
by the work you put in at all times, when people aren´t watching you and
when people are, doing the little things that don´t seem to make a
difference but in the end change everything.
As
for my personal study went this week was along these lines, looking at
really what is faith, the more we study about it the more that we will
know, faith will be the base of our life, and we need to always look to
strenghen our faith each moment that we can.
