Well this week was a rushed week to tell the truth, one of the most rushed on my mission. Why was it so rushed you may ask, well let me tell you why, a couple of weeks ago my distric planned to do a super baptizimal service, so set everything up to be last saturday, prepaing everybody we could and working with these people to have everything set up right.
But one thing interesting is when you are
trying to do a work like that the inimigo also works a lot harder to
mess things up. We started off with a list of 25 people the first week,
then moved down to 15, and then that same week it seemed like everything
was falling apart, everyday it felt like somebody lost somebody new,
slowly we saw people cutting the missionarys for no reason, the parents
that said they would let their teens be baptized all of a sudden saying
no, everything just felt like it wasn´t going to happen, but we kept our
heads up and had to have more faith that it would work out right, and
righ tin the end right before the baptizmal serivce things finally
worked out right. not with the 15, but we still had a pretty good
turnout that day.
I really learned a important
lesson last week with this, in the importance to never give up, even
when things don´t seem like it will work out, right at the last min.
when you feel like it´s not going to turn out right it works out how God
wants it to turn out, now how you want it.
Also
big news that this week i got transfered to a new City called Pelotas,
i´m sad to have to leave the city of Bagé but the Lord needs me here
now.
